How it works

We hear lots of questions, but the main thing everyone wants to know is "How does this work?" So we've outlined the process below.

Step 1: How can we help?

We ask that every potential client complete the "CLIENT QUESTIONNAIRE" by clicking the button at the top or bottom of the page. We will then meet, either in person or via telephone, and discuss the challenges you are facing and the services you would like to explore to help mitigate those challenges. We will send you a checklist of the items necessary to review your books. This checklist will contain items such as a balance sheet, profit and loss statement, bank statements, previous year tax return, etc. We will thoroughly review these items, and when complete, we will send you an Analysis Report. The Report will contain our findings, and a package recommendation based on our research and review. Any catchup or cleanup will be outside the scope of the package.

Step 2: Engagement

Once you've decided on a bookkeeping package, we will begin any cleanup, transitioning, and software setup that you may need. We typically use QuickBooks Online. We love it, but if you are set on using a different software we are willing to explore with you. You will work with a specific bookkeeper and management accountant. You will talk regularly over the next 1 - 3 months while we learn you and your books and you learn us.

Step 3: Smooth Sailing!

At this point things are running smoothly, your books are up to date, you are receiving your company numbers and reports on a regular basis.
